Starting May 1, we will be introducing a new hot yoga style - Hot Ashtanga. We encourage you to make this class a part of your practice as it will not only provide you a strong and solid foundation in balance, strength and flexibility, but will also add more diversity to your hot yoga practice at the studio. This class is a 1 hour practice based on the traditional Ashtanga sequence and we aim to keep you on your toes by conducting this in the hot room!
What is Hot Ashtanga?
Ashtanga is a traditional fluid yoga sequence from which all fluid vinyasa styles of yoga are derived. In this class we focus on the primary series, condensed into a 1 hour format that gives you a balanced practice of sun salutes, standing poses, forward folds, backbends, twists, hip openers and inversions. Particular emphasis is paid to linking the postures with the ujjayi breath, using the dristi (fixed eye-gaze) to maintain mental focus, and the use of bandhas ( energetic locks) to build internal heat and give the body support and strength. A challenging practice but one that is accessible to all levels of student, with the use of props and modifications. Conducted in a hot room of 35 degrees celsius. Hot Ashtanga is suitable for all levels.

2) Yin Yang class

Join us for a Yin Yang extravaganza. Start off with a strong and energetic yang practice, focusing on dynamic flow movements; then graduate into a soothing yin practice, concentrating on deep, meditative stretches. Practiced in a warm room. This class is suitable for all levels.
3) Twist it Up! Flow class
August 10, Saturday

Boost your immunity and make sure that you don’t get the sick often. Rid your body of toxins and impurities with deep twisting postures, interwoven with a strong vinyasa flow practice. Practiced in a warm room. This class is suitable for all levels.
4) “It’s all about your core” Flow class
November 25, Monday

We celebrate International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women with an hour long core flow focused on core oriented standing poses and floor work, interwoven with a dynamic flow sequence and ending in some fun arm balances and inversions. A lovely savasana will seal the class nicely. Practiced in a warm room. This class is suitable for all levels.
